Under the supervision of the Director of Accounting, the A/R - A/P Clerk will be responsible for performing general accounting and billing duties under the direct supervision of the Director of Accounting.
They will play a critical role in collaborating with fiscal staff in day-to-day operations, ensuring the success of the Agency.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Billing Specialist will be a hands-on and participative member of the fiscal team focusing on the following areas:
Assisting the fiscal team with account receivables, accounts payable and payroll.
Keeping complete and accurate records of vendor invoices and payments.
Ensuring Agency payments and invoices are submitted accurately and are complete.
Communicates and works closely with the Senior Financial Analyst and Director of Accounting daily.
Reconciles bank balances and other schedules as assigned.
Assists in monthly closing.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Reconciles other schedules as assigned.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic accounting principles is required.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required, associate or bachelor degree preferred.
Ability to multitask.
Remain motivated and positive.
Strong affinity for attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
All benefits are paid at 100% by Community Services, Inc.
with no premiums due by the employee.
