Armed Security Guard

The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to security alarms, and monitoring surveillance equipment.
They must also be able to identify potential threats and take appropriate action to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors.
The ideal candidate will have a valid armed guard license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and secure environment.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
